WARMEST WELCOME FROM OUR FRONT OF HOUSE
Since a young child John was surrounded by delicious cuisine and aromatic scents. Influenced by his Mama’s and 6 Sister’s culinary skills, John developed a passion for food and grew to become the family’s negotiator and produce buyer at local food markets.
His career as a restaurant owner began when he immigrated to Auckland, New Zealand opening his first cafe Oasis. After operating his first successful food and hospitality venture John decided to move to Wellington and open Cubita, a Cuban style cafe that became a buzzing hub spot for creatives, advertising executives and famous influential faces.
He later collaborated with another local hospitality icon and opened his first dinner and restaurant venture Pizza Napoli, that became a popular Italian food land mark in the Wellington Central hospitality scene.
For John it’s always been about providing an unforgettable experience, quality food and guest satisfaction – just as it was embraced by his family. John has been perfecting his hospitality skills for 25 years strong, constantly striving towards flavoursome success. His most recent Italian restaurant CinCin has been yet another success on his journey to perfecting and fine tuning flavoursome food.
